Cheyenne Health and Wellness Center is a Federally Qualified
Health Center (FQHC) made possible by a grant from the Department
of Health and Human Services (DHHS) (federal grant #1H80CS04196-01-00)
and donations by the City of Cheyenne, Laramie County, Uninted Medical
Center, civic groups, Cheyenne businesses, and private donors, and
by the volunteer efforts of many concerned community members who
believe healthcare should be available to all people.
CHWC accepts all patients regardless of their ability
to pay for services. To ensure that income or lack of insurance
is not a barrier to care, low income patients who are not covered
by public or private insurance are charged on a sliding fee scale.
